For the price it is a great deal and it was very easy to download music onto it. And with a great set of headphones the quality of music is wonderful!

This is a great MP3 player for a great price(I paid $40 including shipping). At 4GB the player will hold hundreds of songs(and or videos, pics). Files are easy to load by drag and drop or use the Windows Media Play(to create playlists). The screen is a good size and very clear and bright. The interface is easy to use and there a lots of features. Updating the firmware is easy by going to the SanDisk website and downloading the Sansa Firmware Updater. It would be the definite choice over an 4GB iPod which has no screen and is roughly twice the price. I would also consider it over an 8GB iPod nano which costs over 3 times as much.
Overall for the price and features it would be hard to find a better deal. I would definitely recommend this item to a friend.

Sansa 4gb fuze is a good player, just don't ever get it wet! I got a drop of water on my Fuze 2gb and was forced to buy this as a replacement. It's a good player, the sound is clear/crisp--battery life is okay. The battery will drain quickly the more you view the screen-lasts about 12 hours if you like to look at the screen often to change songs.

The Sansa Fuze does everything the iPod,
or for that matter the Zune, does, and
more.
All models, from the 2 gig to the 8 gig
have a slot for a mirco sd card, so your
not going to have to just buy a new one
when you fill it up.
Its very easy to navigate the menus, with
a very clear screen. Vids are easy on the
eyes as are pics.
The sound is really good, its got some
amazing bass for an earbud device, and
you can adjust the audio frequencies at
will, or just use some of the presets
like Jazz or Dance.
The nicest thing with this device is that
you have much greater control over what
sorts of files you can put on it than
the iPod or the Zune. For me the big
selling point here was that it easily
accepts Ogg, though also Mp3, WMA, WAV,
and more.
You also have a pretty damn fine FM radio
built in to this. Another little perk is
that you can record right off the radio
if you want. I've done this and the recordings
sound great!
And if your suddenly in need of recording
your own voice, or those around you as in
a meeting, the Fuze will let you do that
too, with amazing clarity for such a tiny
thing.
Downsides? No way to easily replace the
battery. If it goes, you have to either
do the hardware hack and physically open
the device, or get a new one. Also, it
only plays MP4 for vids, though you can
get a free software to convert.
At this price, with these capabilities,
why would you pay more? It'll let you
take your tunes with you, watch your vids,
and look at pics.
If your on the fence, live the dream and
get this one instead of something more
expensive.
You won't be disapointed.

This is the 3rd Sansa MP3 player I have purchased. This Fuze 4gb is the best by far and I really liked my E250 until it started having problems with the scroll wheel a common problem on the E-200 series from what I can tell. The Fuze has a much better scroll wheel and looks like it is much less likely to fail. The volume is a little weaker than I would choose but the sound quality is fine. I added an 8gb micro HC/SD chip and it works fine giving me 12 gb of capacity which should be plenty. The big drawback to the Fuze is that it does not have a replaceable battery. I guess after 2 or 3 years you just throw it away. At the price and with technology moving so fast that probably is no big deal but it would be nice to be able to replace the battery down the road. I have not tried the video and picture programs but they worked fine in my E-250 so I am pretty sure that shouldn't be much of a problem..
